Paula is the Director of Pharmacy Operations at Elevance Health, within the PBM division, CarelonRx. In her role, she oversees member-facing outreach programs that support Part D Stars, driving performance and quality improvement. As a seasoned pharmacy professional, Paula possesses extensive expertise in clinical program leadership. She focuses on transforming strategic directives into actionable initiatives, introducing high-quality solutions, and implementing continuous process improvements to address business and operational challenges.
Before joining Elevance Health, Paula gained valuable experience at UnitedHealthcare, where she played a key role in supporting Part D Stars through quality assurance, training, and operations leadership. In addition to her managed care roles, she also brings retail pharmacy experience to her diverse professional background.
Paula earned her PharmD from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Pharmacy.
