Maaria Kheiri, PharmD currently serves as the Director of Pharmacy Quality Improvement at Centene. She is a dedicated healthcare leader with over a decade of experience in managed care, specializing in pharmacy quality, clinical operations, and patient-centered program development. She is committed to enhancing pharmacy quality measures, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering patient engagement to improve health outcomes on a broad scale. Her expertise includes quality improvement, clinical operations, formulary development, accreditation, analytics, and clinical program strategy, allowing her to develop and implement impactful healthcare solutions.
A Michigan native, Maaria grew up with a strong passion for patient care, which led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS). She began her career in community pharmacy, gaining first hand experience in patient care and medication management. Inspired by a desire to make a larger impact on healthcare systems and patient populations, she transitioned into managed care, where she has since focused on patient-centered care, developing programs that support improved clinical outcomes and healthcare access, ensuring patients receive the necessary support and resources for optimal health.
Outside of work, Maaria enjoys traveling and cherishing quality time with her family.
