Bahar Davidoff is the Vice President of Pharmacy at SCAN Healthplan, where she is dedicated to enhancing the quality, safety, and efficiency of medication management to improve patient outcomes while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
With extensive experience spanning retail, hospital, and medical group settings, Bahar brings a wealth of knowledge to SCAN. She excels at continuously evaluating the healthcare landscape and policy shifts, identifying opportunities to optimize pharmacy services for better health outcomes.
In her role at SCAN, Bahar collaborates with pharmacy teams to drive improvements in medication management, patient care, and overall efficiency, always with a focus on cost-effectiveness.
Before joining SCAN, Bahar served as Vice President of Pharmacy at Heritage Provider Network, where she was responsible for formulary management, pharmacy financial performance, utilization management, and overseeing all clinical pharmacy programs. She also implemented innovative pharmacy strategies to provide value-based care to vulnerable populations, leading the development of progressive initiatives that enhanced patient care.
Bahar holds both a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California. She is a Fellow of the UCSF California Health Care Foundation Leadership Program and was on Medi-CalRX task force committee to enhance mediation access for Medi-Cal patients. Additionally, Bahar serves on the Board of the HomeMeds program for Partners in Care Foundation, where she works to improve the identification of potential medication-related errors through in-home visits.
