Brooke Looney, Pharm D, CSP is a clinical pharmacist with the adult outpatient oncology specialty pharmacy at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she provides medication management, education, and access support to patients on oral anticancer medications. In addition, she serves as the clinical team lead for the oncology and hematology clinics, where her research interests focus on patient care improvement endeavors, including ongoing efforts to reduce medication waste, utilization of tailored monitoring strategies for patients initiating oral anticancer medications, and use of technology within the EHR to identify and communicate with patients at risk for adverse events after starting oral anticancer medications.
