Session Description: The Key Elements of Practice Redesign in Community Pharmacies document, developed by a standing committee of a national pharmacy organization, details a broad and clear vision for the near future of community pharmacy practice. This committee has representation from several national pharmacy associations and community pharmacy employers.
During this session, a description of the document and the facets of patient care services, workforce considerations, and workflow considerations will be provided with the goal to obtain feedback on these identified areas. Participants to identify and prioritize metrics they find meaningful to assess the impact of patient care services. Lastly, the session will gather recommendations for dissemination and utilization of the document, especially among health plans and community pharmacy employers.
